How Clayverest works?

Clayverest is an all-in-one project control solution that can either integrate with your existing tools or operate as a standalone platform.
Think of it as a central hub where you can bring together all your project data, consolidate it, and gain a complete overview in one place.

Here’s what you can do in Clayverest:

  1. Create a project
Projects are central in Clayverest — they are the starting point for everything you do.
Define its charter and objectives, add your team members to collaborate and keep everyone aligned.

  2. Add your project data
Projects are built on data: tasks, milestones, resources, risks and opportunities, costs, etc.
    In Clayverest, you can:

    • Import existing data from tools you already use (such as Planisware, Primavera, MS Project or just excel files).
    • Create data directly in Clayverest using its built-in tools.
You can also mix approaches — for example, import your schedule while creating your risks and opportunities directly in Clayverest.
  3. Visualise your data
Once your data is in, you can explore it through different display modes:

    • Timeline – a clear, interactive time scale showing activities, identifying overlaps, and managing dependencies.

    • List – a structured, sortable way to review every detail.

    • Control - curves and charts to spot trends, track performance, and plan ahead

In short: Create a project → bring in your data → explore it visually.

You can create as many project as you need (depending on your plan).
Projects can be grouped into organisations, which act as containers to help structure and manage related projects together — for example, by department, client, or business unit.

Once your projects are created, Clayverest provides a portfolio view to support strategic oversight:

  • See all your projects on a single timeline to understand scheduling, spot overlaps, and manage dependencies.

  • Access a consolidated view of all project data to detect delays early, monitor performance, and make informed decisions across the portfolio.

Clayverest global workflow

Now that you know the basics of how Clayverest works, let’s look at how a typical project unfolds from start to finish.

Clayverest is tailored to follow best practices in project management. Find below the global workflow to get started in Clayverest:

  1. The first step is to create the project, inside an organisation. This is the role of the Organisation Owner.
  2. Next, the Project Owner initiates the project by completing the project charter and assigning the roles of each Project Member.
  3. Then, the Project Owner can create the project structure by editing the WBS.
  4. Now that the project has been initiated, Project Member can add data to it. Data can be created from scratch in Clayverest or it can be imported from an external data source to be visualised in Clayverest and linked to other types of data.
  5. You can start by creating one or more roadmaps. You can then control your project in the usual way: adding actions, managing risks and costs, creating meetings and taking minutes, and archiving your project decisions.
